Roger is Principal Horn of the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment and a member of the Orchestra of the Royal Opera House. He teaches at the Royal Academy of Music, the Royal College of Music and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
A lesson on the type of horn played pre 1750 withut valves. Various techniques which are used include playing natural sound, minimal hand use and nodal venting. Focussing mainly but not exclusively on the music of Bach, Handel and Telemann.
