Hery Paz is a saxophonist and composer born in Cuba. He has won the acclaim and respect of legendary jazz musicians such as Fred Hersch, who called him "... a revelation, a musician of extraordinary strength". Hery has a Master's degree from the New England Conservatory in Boston and over 10 years of experience as an educator. In addition to teaching privately he is an active instructor for the New England Conservatory Jazz Lab and the University of Maine Jazz Camp in Farmington.
