Hi! I am so excited to have the opportunity to work with all of you aspiring percussionists and timpanists around the world!
I teach intermediate and advanced level students, and specialize in coaching players who are preparing for an audition or competition. Over the past 12 years, I've crafted a very successful career as a performer and want to share the knowledge I've gained with anyone who aspires to or is currently navigating the professional music scene. If you're looking to take your playing to the next level but struggling to identify the missing pieces, we'll be a great match!
My bio:
Eddie Meneses, a California Native, joined the Santa Barbara Symphony as
Principal Percussion in April, 2008 and from 2011-2013 performed as a musician

artists as John Williams, Danny Elfman, Randy Newman, Journey and can often
be seen performing with the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Eddie graduated with
a Bachelor's degree in percussion from the University of Southern California in
2005, a Masters degree from Carnegie Mellon University in 2008 and a graduate
certificate from USC in 2011 where he studied with James Babor (Percussion,
Los Angeles Philharmonic) and Joseph Pereira (Principal Timpani, Los Angeles
Philharmonic).
Looking forward to meeting you!
