Born in Milano, Italy, Graziano Moretto entered the Verdi Conservatorium where he graduated at the top of the class.
Subsequently he studied at the Musikhochschule in Munich, winning the Meisterklassendiplom in 1993.
Graziano has appeared as soloist with numerous orchestras around Europe including Orchestra della RAI, I Pomeriggi Musicali, Georgisch Kammerorchester, Klassische Polnische Philharmonie, De Fhilharmonie van Vlaanderen, Antwerp Symphony Orchestra.
He has worked under many conductors including Lorin Maazel, Sergiu Celibidache, Giuseppe Sinopoli, Sir Colin Davis, Riccardo Muti, Frans Bruggen, Philippe Herreweghe, Daniele Gatti.
He collaborated with several orchestras as Principal Bassoon.
Since 1992 Graziano has been Principal Bassoon with the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra in Belgium.
He is Professor at the "Institut Supérieur de Musique et de Pédagogie" in Namur and at the Conservatory of Music in Ghent in Chamber Music and Bassoon.
In 2013 Graziano successfully attained the title of "Dottore in Scienza dei Beni Culturali e Ambientali" from the University of Ferrara, Italy.
He also specialised in pedagogy at the University "Guglielmo Marconi" in Rome.
