Fletcher is a euphonium soloist based in Brisbane. He has traveled to more than 40 countries around the world as a guest soloist, conductor, adjudicator, and educator including the United States, Canada, Europe, United Kingdom, Asia, the Pacific, and across Australia & New Zealand. He was a full-time member of the Royal Australian Navy Band 2007-2020, and casual euphonium with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra (QSO) since 2016.
As an educator, Fletcher was the lecturer in low brass at Monash University in Melbourne 2015-2016 before moving to Brisbane in 2017 where he took up the position of euphonium lecturer at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, Griffith University in 2018, a position he currently holds. He has worked as an artist-in-residence at universities across the United States as a soloist, conductor, and lecturer. Fletcher holds a Ph.D. from USQ researching 'The Emergence of Australian Solo Euphonium Repertoire'.
