Hi there, I'm David Elton, Principal Trumpet of the London Symphony Orchestra and the Sydney Symphony Orchestra.

I'm also a professor of trumpet at the Royal College of Music, London and a member of the brass faculty at the Australian National Academy of Music, Melbourne.

I enjoy working alongside trumpet players of all levels, from university/college students preparing for professional auditions, to those developing and refining areas of their technique and musicality, to younger players who love making music.

In addition to my performance and teaching commitments, I frequently perform recitals and masterclasses around the world, and try to sneak in a surf as much as possible.

As I've been fortunate enough to have studied with some of the finest teachers and players over the years, I would be happy to share with you whatever I can.
