大提琴家黃胤銘的演出足跡遍及五大洲。樂評讚譽他「有著卓越的技巧 」，「雄厚的音色」，「抒發細緻又濃厚的感情」和「營造魔法般的時刻」。

過去20年我幫助不同程度的學生訓練全方位的技巧、雄渾而色彩豐富的音色、以及對音樂深層透徹的理解。我過去和現在的學生成功在英美歐洲等地獲名校取錄，或於職業樂團和音樂學校取得職位，年輕的學生亦於不同的比賽和考試取得優異的成績。

生於香港，中學畢業後負笈美國進修大提琴演奏，取得伊斯曼音樂學院音樂學士、印第安納大學碩士、耶魯大學音樂學院音樂藝術博士和藝術家文憑。

黃博士曾任澳洲墨爾本大學音樂學院大提琴教授，並創立駐該校的Ormond弦樂四重奏。2015年黃氏以藝術總監的身份創辦了首屆墨爾本大提琴節，獲得一致好評。
